Ali R\u0131za Bey\u2019in ailesi G\u00f6rele\u2019nin Dayl\u0131 k\u00f6y\u00fc e\u015fraf\u0131ndan,\u00a0 Neyire Han\u0131m\u2019\u0131n ailesi ise Tekirda\u011f\u2019\u0131n Dedecik k\u00f6y\u00fc e\u015fraf\u0131ndand\u0131r. Hasan-\u00c2li\u2019nin annesinin babas\u0131 Japonya seferi d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fc ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen Ertu\u011frul facias\u0131nda (1890) yakla\u015f\u0131k 500 m\u00fcrettebat\u0131yla birlikte ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131 yitiren Ertu\u011frul F\u0131rkateyni kaptan\u0131 Ali Bey\u2019dir. Anne taraf\u0131ndan dedesi emekli Bahriye Feriki Zihni Efendi\u2019nin kona\u011f\u0131nda do\u011fan Hasan \u00c2li\u2019ye, babas\u0131n\u0131n babas\u0131, Posta ve Telgraf Naz\u0131r\u0131 Hasan \u00c2li Efendi\u2019nin ad\u0131 verilmi\u015ftir. Tek \u00e7ocuk olarak b\u00fcy\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f olan Hasan \u00c2li, \u00a0ilk \u00e7ocukluk d\u00f6nemini annesi, anneannesi ve dad\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n belirleyici oldu\u011fu kalabal\u0131k ve mutlu aile ortam\u0131nda ge\u00e7irmi\u015ftir. Babas\u0131n\u0131 gere\u011finden fazla otoriter bulmakla birlikte onun d\u00fcr\u00fcst ki\u015fili\u011finden ve gayri ahlak\u00ee tutumlara y\u00f6nelik \u00f6d\u00fcns\u00fcz tavr\u0131ndan \u00f6v\u00fcn\u00e7le s\u00f6z etmi\u015ftir. Ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131n son d\u00f6neminde topluma olan inanc\u0131 sars\u0131lan Ali R\u0131za Bey\u2019in, evden ayr\u0131larak tek bir odada yaln\u0131z ba\u015f\u0131na ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131 tamamlam\u0131\u015f olmas\u0131ndansa \u00fcz\u00fcnt\u00fc duymu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p>Annesi, babas\u0131 ve anneannesi Mevlevi olan Hasan \u00c2li\u2019nin erken \u00e7ocukluk d\u00f6neminde edindi\u011fi Mevlevi k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn, tasavvuf\u00ee d\u00fcnya g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcn onun ki\u015fili\u011finin bi\u00e7imlenmesinde etkili oldu\u011fu bilinmektedir. Babas\u0131 b\u00fcrokrasideki g\u00f6revini s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcrken m\u00fczikle de yak\u0131ndan ilgilenmi\u015f, ney \u00fcflemi\u015f, din\u00ee ve din d\u0131\u015f\u0131 eserler bestelemi\u015fti. Kadiri dervi\u015fi olan anneannesi Ay\u015fe Han\u0131m, yaln\u0131zca dini kitaplar\u0131 de\u011fil g\u00fcnl\u00fck gazeteleri de okuyan,\u00a0 birikimli bir aile b\u00fcy\u00fc\u011f\u00fcyd\u00fc. Hasan \u00c2li onunla siyaset sohbeti yaparak ona Kur\u2019an ve Mevlit okuyarak, \u015fark\u0131 s\u00f6yleyerek keyifli zaman ge\u00e7irirdi. \u00d6te yandan tambur \u00fcstad\u0131 \u015eeyh Mehmed Celaleddin Dede\u2019yle, m\u00fcezzin ve kud\u00fcmzen Hasan Dede, \u00a0Hasan-\u00c2li\u2019nin \u00e7ocuklu\u011funu mutlu ya\u015famas\u0131nda ve ki\u015fisel geli\u015fiminde etkili, \u00f6nde gelen Mevlevihane simalar\u0131yd\u0131. Onlar taraf\u0131ndan dinsel rit\u00fcellerde ve m\u00fczik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda yer alma y\u00f6n\u00fcnde \u00f6zendirilmesi, \u00a0Hasan \u00c2li\u2019nin m\u00fczik konusundaki yetene\u011finin de ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Hasan \u00c2li\u2019nin e\u011fitim ya\u015fam\u0131 1901 y\u0131l\u0131nda, 4 ya\u015f\u0131ndayken verildi\u011fi Laleli\u2019deki Yolge\u00e7en Mektebi\u2019nde ba\u015flad\u0131, ard\u0131ndan ailenin G\u00fcm\u00fc\u015fsuyu\u2019na ta\u015f\u0131nmas\u0131 \u00fczerine Topkap\u0131\u2019daki Ta\u015f Mekteb\u2019e kaydedildi. Yolge\u00e7en mektebindeki sistemde \u00f6\u011frencilere okuma \u00f6\u011fretildikten hemen sonra e\u011fitim, dini metinlerin Arap\u00e7a olarak okutulmas\u0131yla s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcl\u00fcrd\u00fc.\u00a0 Hasan \u00c2li, belle\u011finde olumsuz iz b\u0131rakan bu okulda izlenen y\u00f6ntemlerle normal bir \u00e7ocu\u011fun bile aptalla\u015fabilece\u011fini belirtmi\u015ftir. \u0130kinci okulu Ta\u015f Mektebi de falaka ve benzeri kat\u0131 ceza y\u00f6ntemleri nedeniyle sevememi\u015f ancak bu d\u00f6nemde onu mutlu k\u0131lan, ta\u015f\u0131nd\u0131klar\u0131 k\u00f6\u015fk\u00fcn konumu ve kom\u015fuluk ili\u015fkileri olmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p>Yolge\u00e7en Mektebi ve Ta\u015f Mektep\u2019te verimli bir e\u011fitim alamayan Hasan-\u00c2li, 1906 y\u0131l\u0131nda 9 ya\u015f\u0131ndayken Yusuf Pa\u015fa\u2019daki Mekteb-i Osmani\u2019nin 2. s\u0131n\u0131f\u0131na kaydedildi. Derslerin farkl\u0131 \u00f6\u011fretmenlerce okutuldu\u011fu, \u00f6\u011frencilerin s\u0131ralarda oturdu\u011fu, \u00f6\u011fretimde kara tahta ve haritalar\u0131n, resimli kitaplar\u0131n kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 bu okulu benimsedi. \u00a05 y\u0131l \u00f6\u011frenim g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc bu okuldan \u00fcst\u00fcn ba\u015far\u0131yla mezun olduktan sonra Vefa \u0130dadisi\u2019ne girdi. \u0130dadi (lise) y\u0131llar\u0131nda \u00fclke sorunlar\u0131na ve siyasete ilgisi yo\u011funla\u015ft\u0131. Asl\u0131nda Hasan \u00c2li siyasetle k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck ya\u015flarda, Mevlevihane\u2019nin Me\u015frutiyet yanl\u0131s\u0131 ortam\u0131nda tan\u0131\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. \u00a02. Me\u015frutiyet\u2019in ilan edildi\u011fi g\u00fcnlerdeyse Celaleddin Dede\u2019nin ye\u011feni, \u00a0\u201cilk h\u00fcrriyet hocam\u201d dedi\u011fi Nutku Efendi\u2019den \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn anlam\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6\u011frenmi\u015f ve bu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceye ortam sa\u011flama iddias\u0131ndaki\u00a0<strong>\u0130ttihat ve Terakki<\/strong>\u2019ye yak\u0131nl\u0131k duymu\u015ftu. Lise y\u0131llar\u0131nda \u00fclke sorunlar\u0131 konusunda d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmesini sa\u011flayan temel geli\u015fme Balkan Sava\u015f\u0131\u2019yla Osmanl\u0131 Devleti\u2019nin Rumeli\u2019yi kaybetmesi oldu. Hasan \u00c2li, bu d\u00f6nemde okudu\u011fu Japonya\u2019n\u0131n kalk\u0131nmas\u0131n\u0131 konu alan bir kitab\u0131n, \u00fczerindeki etkisinden s\u00f6z etmi\u015f, \u00f6\u011fretim seferberli\u011fi konusundaki inanc\u0131n\u0131n da bu kitab\u0131n etkisiyle olu\u015ftu\u011funu belirtmi\u015ftir. \u00d6te yandan \u00e7ocuklu\u011funda Bulgaristan g\u00f6\u00e7meni \u201cMustafa Day\u0131\u201d dan dinledi\u011fi g\u00f6\u00e7menli\u011fe ili\u015fkin ac\u0131 hik\u00e2yeleri hen\u00fcz unutmam\u0131\u015fken bu ger\u00e7eklikle yine Balkan Sava\u015f\u0131 d\u00f6neminde y\u00fcz y\u00fcze geldi. D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131 nedeniyle askere \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131lan Hasan \u00c2li, 1915 ve 1918 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda yakla\u015f\u0131k 3.5 y\u0131l\u0131 ordu g\u00f6revinde ge\u00e7irdi. Terhis edildikten sonra \u0130stanbul Dar\u00fclf\u00fcnunu b\u00fcnyesindeki Hukuk Fak\u00fcltesi\u2019ne kaydoldu. Liseyi bitirmeden y\u00fcksek\u00f6\u011frenim g\u00f6rebilme olana\u011f\u0131 bulmas\u0131, liselerin son s\u0131n\u0131flar\u0131ndan askere al\u0131nan \u00f6\u011frencilere bu y\u00f6nde bir hak tan\u0131nm\u0131\u015f olmas\u0131yla ilgilidir. Hukuk Fak\u00fcltesi\u2019ndeyken hocalar\u0131ndan Celalettin \u00c2rif \u00a0Bey\u2019le yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir tart\u0131\u015fma nedeniyle Hukuk \u00f6\u011frenimini b\u0131rakt\u0131. \u00d6\u011frenim ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131n bundan sonraki evresinde Edebiyat Fak\u00fcltesi\u2019nin felsefe \u015fubesine kaydolarak yat\u0131l\u0131 bir Y\u00fcksek \u00d6\u011fretmen Okulu olan Dar\u00fclmuallimin-i \u00c2liye\u2019nin \u00f6\u011frencisi oldu. \u00d6\u011frenim g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc y\u0131llarda Tasvir-i Efk\u00e2r ve \u0130fham gazetesi i\u00e7in muhabirlik yapt\u0131. \u0130lk \u015fiirleri yine \u00f6\u011frencilik d\u00f6neminde Derg\u00e2h Mecmuas\u0131\u2019nda yay\u0131mland\u0131. Hasan-\u00c2li, \u00fclke i\u015fgallerini protesto amac\u0131yla d\u00fczenlenen miting ve eylemler i\u00e7inde de etkindi. Mill\u00ee M\u00fccadele\u2019yi destekleyen \u00e7evre i\u00e7inde yer ald\u0131, ya\u015fam\u0131 boyunca sars\u0131lmaz bir dostluk s\u00fcrd\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc\u00a0<strong>Yakup Kadri Karaosmano\u011flu<\/strong>\u00a0ve Ahmet Hamdi Tanp\u0131nar\u2019la bu \u00e7evrede tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131. \u00dclke sorunlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fck ortam\u0131nda tart\u0131\u015f\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirtti\u011fi, \u201cmilliyet, edeb ve medeniyet mektebi\u201d olarak nitelendirdi\u011fi\u00a0<strong>T\u00fcrk Oca\u011f\u0131<\/strong>\u2019n\u0131n \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na etkin bi\u00e7imde kat\u0131ld\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Hasan \u00c2li, 1919 y\u0131l\u0131nda ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 felsefe \u00f6\u011frenimini 1921 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u00fcst\u00fcn ba\u015far\u0131yla tamamlad\u0131ktan sonra ders \u00fccreti kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00f6\u011fretmenlik, ard\u0131ndan fak\u00fcltede memurluk yapt\u0131. 1922 y\u0131l\u0131 sonunda \u00f6\u011fretmen olarak atand\u0131.\u00a0<strong>\u0130smail Hakk\u0131 Baltac\u0131o\u011flu<\/strong>\u2019nun Talim ve Terbiye\u2019de \u0130nk\u0131lap\u201d adl\u0131 kitab\u0131n\u0131n \u201csat\u0131rlar\u0131na yans\u0131m\u0131\u015f k\u00fclt\u00fcr ve terbiye ruhu\u201d nun \u00f6\u011fretmen olma karar\u0131n\u0131 de\u011fi\u015fmez k\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirten Hasan \u00c2li\u2019nin ilk g\u00f6rev yeri \u0130zmir Erkek Muallim Mektebi (\u00d6\u011fretmen Okulu) oldu. T\u00fcrk\u00e7e ve Edebiyat \u00f6\u011fretmeni olarak g\u00f6rev yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u0130zmir y\u0131llar\u0131nda Refika Han\u0131m\u2019la evlendi.\u00a0<strong>Vas\u0131f \u00c7\u0131nar<\/strong>, Nafi Atuf, R\u0131dvan Nafiz gibi \u00f6nemli e\u011fitimcilerle birlikte T\u00fcrk Oca\u011f\u0131 ve Muallimler Birli\u011fi\u2019nin kurulu\u015funa, T\u00fcrk Sesi gazetesinin \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lmas\u0131na \u00f6nc\u00fcl\u00fck etti. Y\u00f6neltti\u011fi soruyla belle\u011finde iz b\u0131rakt\u0131\u011f\u0131\u00a0<strong>Atat\u00fcrk<\/strong>\u2019le ilk kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fmas\u0131 da \u0130zmir\u2019de ger\u00e7ekle\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p>Hasan \u00c2li, 1923 y\u0131l\u0131 sonunda e\u015fiyle birlikte \u0130stanbul\u2019a d\u00f6nd\u00fc. 1924 y\u0131l\u0131nda Kuleli Askeri Lisesi\u2019ne edebiyat \u00f6\u011fretmeni olarak atand\u0131. Sonraki g\u00f6rev yeri \u0130stanbul Erkek Lisesi ve\u00a0<strong>Galatasaray Lisesi<\/strong>\u2019ydi. T\u00fcrk\u00e7e, felsefe, edebiyat derslerinin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra i\u00e7timaiyat (sosyoloji) ve malumat\u0131 vataniye (yurtta\u015fl\u0131k bilgisi) dersleri verdi. \u00d6\u011fretmenlik yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bu d\u00f6nemde Milli Mecmua\u2019da \u015fiirleri, estetik ve edebiyat konulu yaz\u0131lar\u0131 yay\u0131mland\u0131. 1926\u2019da Can ve Canan adlar\u0131nda ikiz \u00e7ocuklar\u0131 oldu. M\u00fcfetti\u015f olarak atand\u0131\u011f\u0131 1927 y\u0131l\u0131na de\u011fin s\u00fcrd\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u00f6\u011fretmenlik y\u0131llar\u0131nda \u201cFelsefe Elifbas\u0131-Ruhiyat\u201d, \u201cS\u00fbri ve Tatbiki Mant\u0131k\u201d, \u201cT\u00fcrk Edebiyat\u0131 Numuneleri\u201d adl\u0131 kitaplar\u0131 yay\u0131mlad\u0131. Bu kitaplar, \u00a0Hasan \u00c2li\u2019nin kendi deneyimlerinden yola \u00e7\u0131karak eksikliklerini belirledi\u011fi alanlarda ilgili kesimleri bilgilendirme \u00e7abas\u0131n\u0131n ilk \u00f6rneklerindendi. Hasan \u00c2li, 1928\u2019de ki\u015fili\u011fine ve d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce d\u00fcnyas\u0131na yak\u0131nl\u0131k duydu\u011fu Tevfik Fikret\u2019in \u201cTarih-i Kadim \u2013 Doksan Be\u015fe Do\u011fru\u201d adl\u0131 \u015fiir kitab\u0131n\u0131 Latin harflerine \u00e7evirerek yay\u0131mlad\u0131. 1927\u2019de Maarif Eminli\u011fi b\u00fcnyesinde m\u00fcfetti\u015fli\u011fe atand\u0131, Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n Tefti\u015f Kurulu\u2019nda g\u00f6rev ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 1930\u2019da Frans\u0131z e\u011fitim sistemini yerinde ara\u015ft\u0131rmak \u00fczere Paris\u2019e gitti. K\u0131sa bir Londra gezisini de i\u00e7eren bu d\u00f6nemde Paris\u2019te edindi\u011fi deneyimler ve ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirdi\u011fi \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar onun Bat\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc daha yak\u0131ndan tan\u0131mas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flad\u0131. Hasan-\u00c2li\u2019nin, 1932 y\u0131l\u0131nda bas\u0131lan olan \u201cGoethe-Bir Dehan\u0131n Roman\u0131\u201d adl\u0131 yap\u0131t\u0131 Paris\u2019te Goethe \u00fczerine yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n sonucudur. \u201cFransa\u2019da K\u00fclt\u00fcr \u0130\u015fleri\u201d adl\u0131 kitab\u0131 da bu d\u00f6nemdeki birikiminin \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc olarak 1936\u2019da yay\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Hasan \u00c2li, Paris\u2019ten d\u00f6nd\u00fckten sonra Atat\u00fcrk\u2019\u00fcn \u00fc\u00e7 ay s\u00fcren yurt gezisine kat\u0131lmak \u00fczere\u00a0<strong>Maarif Vek\u00e2leti<\/strong>\u00a0taraf\u0131ndan g\u00f6revlendirildi. Atat\u00fcrk\u2019le ikinci kez y\u00fcz y\u00fcze geldi\u011fi bu gezide Atat\u00fcrk\u2019\u00fcn ki\u015fili\u011fini ve d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce sistemini daha yak\u0131ndan tan\u0131ma f\u0131rsat\u0131 buldu. \u00d6te yandan Atat\u00fcrk de Hasan \u00c2li\u2019nin k\u0131vrak zek\u00e2s\u0131n\u0131 ve gen\u00e7 ya\u015f\u0131na ra\u011fmen sahip oldu\u011fu birikimi ke\u015ffetti. Atat\u00fcrk\u2019\u00fcn, \u00e7evresindekilere y\u00f6neltti\u011fi \u201cT\u00fcrk milleti ne zaman kendini kurtulmu\u015f sayar\u201d bi\u00e7imindeki soruya verilen cevaplar aras\u0131nda onu en \u00e7ok etkileyen Hasan-\u00c2li\u2019nin yorumuydu: \u201cT\u00fcrk milleti ne zaman kurtar\u0131c\u0131 arama ihtiyac\u0131 duymayacak hale gelirse o zaman kurtulmu\u015f olur\u201d diyen Hasan \u00c2li\u2019nin d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesini \u00f6nemsedi\u011fini Atat\u00fcrk \u015fu s\u00f6zlerle ortaya koymu\u015ftu: \u201cHepiniz enteresan fikirler s\u00f6ylediniz. Fakat bu \u00e7ocu\u011fun ileri att\u0131\u011f\u0131, \u00fcst\u00fcnde bizi derin derin d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcrmeye de\u011fer bir fikirdir\u201d. Atat\u00fcrk, ayn\u0131 gezide Hasan-\u00c2li\u2019nin yazm\u0131\u015f oldu\u011fu ders kitab\u0131n\u0131 de\u011ferlendirirken de \u201cBen ilk defa m\u00fcspet bilimlerin usullerini, b\u00fcy\u00fck filozoflar\u0131n hayatlar\u0131n\u0131 yazan b\u00f6yle bir mant\u0131k kitab\u0131 g\u00f6rd\u00fcm\u201d diyerek be\u011fenisini ifade etmi\u015fti. \u00a0Atat\u00fcrk\u2019e g\u00f6re kitaptaki tek sorun Arap\u00e7a terimlerin yo\u011funlu\u011fuydu. Yurt d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda \u00f6\u011frenim g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015f \u00f6\u011fretmenlerin de g\u00f6rev yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 Enstit\u00fc onun d\u00f6neminde yeni bir soluk kazand\u0131,\u00a0 \u00f6zellikle sanat ve edebiyat alanlar\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcrel etkinliklerle desteklendi. Soyad\u0131 yasas\u0131 d\u00fczenlemesinin yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 1934 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u00c2li\u2019nin T\u00fcrk\u00e7e kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 olan Y\u00fccel soyad\u0131n\u0131 alan Hasan \u00c2li, 1 Mart 1935 tarihinde \u0130zmir milletvekili olarak Meclise girdi.<\/p>\n<p>Hasan-\u00c2li Y\u00fccel milletvekili se\u00e7ildikten sonra\u00a0<strong>Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi<\/strong>\u2019nin Umum \u0130dare Heyeti\u2019nde (Genel \u0130dare Kurulu) g\u00f6rev ald\u0131. 1936 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc \u00e7ocu\u011fu G\u00fcl\u00fcmser d\u00fcnyaya geldi. Bu d\u00f6nemde Ak\u015fam gazetesinde k\u00f6\u015fe yaz\u0131lar\u0131 yazd\u0131 ve bu yaz\u0131lar\u0131 \u201cPazartesi Konu\u015fmalar\u0131\u201d (1937) adl\u0131 kitapta toplad\u0131. \u00dcsl\u00fbp ve i\u00e7erik a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan e\u011fitimci, edebiyat\u00e7\u0131, felsefeci, sanat\u00e7\u0131 ki\u015fili\u011fini yans\u0131tan bu yaz\u0131larda ulus bilincinin \u00f6nemine de vurgu yaparak de\u011ferlendirme ve \u00f6nerilerde bulunmu\u015ftur.\u00a0 \u201cBizim ger\u00e7ek uyanma tarihimiz Atat\u00fcrk\u2019le ve \u0130stiklal Sava\u015f\u0131\u2019yla ba\u015flad\u0131\u201d \u00a0diyen Y\u00fccel, kayb\u0131ndan b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00fcz\u00fcnt\u00fc duydu\u011fu Atat\u00fcrk\u2019\u00fcn naa\u015f\u0131n\u0131 Meclis ad\u0131na ta\u015f\u0131mak \u00fczere kurayla belirlenen 12 milletvekilinden biri oldu.<\/p>\n<p>Hasan \u00c2li Y\u00fccel 28 Aral\u0131k 1938 y\u0131l\u0131nda\u00a0<strong>Celal Bayar<\/strong>\u00a0kabinesinde Maarif Vekili (E\u011fitim Bakan\u0131) olarak g\u00f6revlendirildi. G\u00f6reve ba\u015flarken, kendisinden \u00f6nceki bakan\u00a0<strong>Saffet Ar\u0131kan<\/strong>\u2019\u0131n b\u0131rakt\u0131\u011f\u0131 yerden devam edece\u011fini s\u00f6yledi. E\u011fitimi ilk\u00f6\u011fretimden \u00fcniversiteye kadar bir b\u00fct\u00fcn olarak ele alan Y\u00fccel, reformlara giri\u015fmeden \u00f6nce alan uzmanlar\u0131n\u0131, yetkilileri, ilgilileri bir araya getirerek Maarif Kongresi\u2019yle ba\u015flayan dan\u0131\u015fma ve planlama toplant\u0131lar\u0131 gelene\u011fini canland\u0131rd\u0131. \u0130lk olarak 10 Y\u0131ll\u0131k Ne\u015friyat Sergisi ve 1. Ne\u015friyat Kongresi\u2019ni (1-5 May\u0131s 1939) d\u00fczenlendi. \u00a0Ayn\u0131 y\u0131l i\u00e7inde 1. Maarif \u015euras\u0131 (17-29 Temmuz) topland\u0131. \u00a0Ne\u015friyat Kongresi\u2019nde bas\u0131m ve yay\u0131n konular\u0131ndaki sorunlar tart\u0131\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015f, d\u00fcnya klasiklerini de kapsayan yay\u0131n program\u0131 olu\u015fturulmu\u015ftur. \u00c7eviri faaliyetlerinin devlet politikas\u0131 olarak benimsenmesi kongrenin en \u00f6nemli kazan\u0131m\u0131d\u0131r. Kongrede Y\u00fccel, Bat\u0131 d\u00fcnyas\u0131n\u0131n se\u00e7kin bir uzvu olma amac\u0131ndaki T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de uygar d\u00fcnyan\u0131n d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce \u00fcr\u00fcnlerinin T\u00fcrk\u00e7eye \u00e7evrilmesinin, Bat\u0131\u2019yla b\u00fct\u00fcnle\u015fmeye de katk\u0131da bulunaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirtmi\u015fti. Kongre kararlar\u0131 gere\u011fi Terc\u00fcme B\u00fcrosu \u00e7ok say\u0131da klasik eseri T\u00fcrk\u00e7eye kazand\u0131rd\u0131. Maarif \u015euras\u0131\u2019nda \u00f6\u011fretimin \u00e7e\u015fitli kademelerinin yeniden yap\u0131land\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131na ili\u015fkin \u00f6nemli kararlar al\u0131nd\u0131. \u0130kincisi 1943 y\u0131l\u0131nda d\u00fczenlenen Maarif \u015euras\u0131, o zamandan beri periyodik olarak toplanmaktad\u0131r.\u00a0 1. Kurulu\u015fundan beri T\u00fcrk Dil Kurumu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 i\u00e7inde yer alan Y\u00fccel\u2019in \u201cT\u00fcrk\u00e7e konu\u015fmak, T\u00fcrk\u00e7e yazmak\u201d konusundaki \u0131srar\u0131yla \u00e7e\u015fitli bilim dallar\u0131na ili\u015fkin s\u00f6zl\u00fckler olu\u015fturulurken bir yandan da T\u00fcrk\u00e7e S\u00f6zl\u00fck ve Tarama S\u00f6zl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc haz\u0131rland\u0131. Anayasa ve Hukuk dilinin T\u00fcrk\u00e7ele\u015fmesi de Y\u00fccel\u2019in giri\u015fimleri sonucu g\u00fcndeme geldi. Y\u00fccel, dil birli\u011fi yan\u0131nda k\u00fclt\u00fcr b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc ulusal birlik a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nemsemi\u015f, T\u00fcrk devrim s\u00fcrecini, Cumhuriyet de\u011ferlerini yeni ku\u015faklara aktarma amac\u0131yla 1942\u2019de kurulan T\u00fcrk \u0130nk\u0131lap Tarihi Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn \u00f6nemini vurgulam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u00d6te yandan k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn yaln\u0131z okulda kazan\u0131laca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 sanman\u0131n bir yan\u0131lg\u0131 oldu\u011funa dikkat \u00e7ekerek k\u00fclt\u00fcr aktar\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n bir ba\u015fka boyutunu olu\u015fturan m\u00fcze yap\u0131land\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 ba\u015flatm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Y\u00fccel\u2019e g\u00f6re \u00fclke topraklar\u0131nda bug\u00fcne de\u011fin ya\u015fam\u0131\u015f topluluklar\u0131n olu\u015fturdu\u011fu eserlere sahip \u00e7\u0131kmak, onlar\u0131 korumak ve tan\u0131tmak k\u00fclt\u00fcr b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc i\u00e7in gerekli oldu\u011fu kadar ulusa ve t\u00fcm insanl\u0131\u011fa bir bor\u00e7tur. Bu anlay\u0131\u015fla 1944\u2019te Eski Eserler ve M\u00fczeler Genel M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn kurulu\u015fu sa\u011flanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Y\u00fccel\u2019in istedi\u011fi gibi, \u00fclke a\u00e7\u0131k hava m\u00fczesi olamasa da, m\u00fczecilik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 h\u0131z kazanm\u0131\u015f, Tevfik Fikret an\u0131s\u0131na a\u00e7\u0131lan A\u015fiyan m\u00fczesi de bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n ilk somut sonucu olmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p>Y\u00fccel, \u00f6nc\u00fcl\u00fck etti\u011fi reformlarla ulusal birli\u011fin temeli olarak ulusal k\u00fclt\u00fcr yaratma yolunda ulusal ve evrensel aras\u0131nda ba\u011flant\u0131 kurdu,\u00a0 ulusal k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc evrensel k\u00fclt\u00fcrle beslemeye, zenginle\u015ftirmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Bu bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 Birle\u015fmi\u015f Milletler E\u011fitim, Bilim ve K\u00fclt\u00fcr Te\u015fkilat\u0131 olan Unesco\u2019nun 1945 y\u0131l\u0131ndaki kurulu\u015f toplant\u0131s\u0131nda da dile getirdi. Konu\u015fmas\u0131nda ink\u0131lap\u00e7\u0131 T\u00fcrk devletinin insanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n ortak k\u00fclt\u00fcr kaynaklar\u0131ndan yararlanmay\u0131, ba\u015fka milletleri tan\u0131may\u0131, anlamay\u0131 ve saymay\u0131 Milli E\u011fitim esaslar\u0131 i\u00e7inde g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc belirtti. \u00a0Bu toplant\u0131da kabul edilen Unesco Anayasas\u0131n\u0131n 1946 y\u0131l\u0131nda T\u00fcrkiye taraf\u0131ndan onaylanmas\u0131 sonras\u0131nda Unesco Milli Komisyonu kuruldu. Y\u00fccel\u2019in k\u00fclt\u00fcr ve e\u011fitim alan\u0131ndaki d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 ve Unesco\u2019ya katk\u0131s\u0131 unutulmam\u0131\u015f, do\u011fumunun 100. y\u0131l\u0131 olan 1997, Unesco taraf\u0131ndan Hasan Ali Y\u00fccel y\u0131l\u0131 olarak belirlenmi\u015f, Y\u00fccel \u00e7e\u015fitli etkinliklerle an\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin \u00e7ok partili ya\u015fama girdi\u011fi s\u00fcre\u00e7te CHP i\u00e7indeki ayr\u0131\u015fma 7 Ocak 1946\u2019da Demokrat Parti\u2019nin kurulmas\u0131yla sonu\u00e7lanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Bu d\u00f6nemde ba\u015fta K\u00f6y Enstit\u00fcleri olmak \u00fczere toplumsal d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan belirleyici olan e\u011fitim ve k\u00fclt\u00fcr reformlar\u0131na y\u00f6neltilen ele\u015ftirilerin dozu artt\u0131. Y\u00fckselen muhalefetin hedef ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 Y\u00fccel, DP\u2019nin de kat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 1946 se\u00e7imleri sonras\u0131nda, 5 A\u011fustos 1946 tarihinde Milli E\u011fitim Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6revinden istifa etti. Bakanl\u0131ktan ayr\u0131ld\u0131ktan sonra yazmaya ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 Ulus gazetesinde yaz\u0131lar\u0131 yay\u0131mlanmaz olunca 1950 y\u0131l\u0131nda CHP\u2019den de ayr\u0131ld\u0131 ve siyas\u00ee ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131 sonland\u0131rd\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Hasan \u00c2li Y\u00fccel, 1947 y\u0131l\u0131 ba\u015f\u0131nda kendisine y\u00f6nelik su\u00e7lama ve hakaretleri nedeniyle Kenan \u00d6ner\u2019e dava a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131. \u00d6ner\u2019in temel iddialar\u0131ndan biri, Y\u00fccel\u2019in, bakanl\u0131k d\u00f6neminde kendine ba\u011fl\u0131 t\u00fcm kurumlarda kom\u00fcnistleri himaye etti\u011fi yolundayd\u0131. Dava, s\u00fcre\u00e7 i\u00e7inde Y\u00fccel d\u00f6neminin t\u00fcm uygulamalar\u0131n\u0131n tart\u0131\u015f\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131, buna kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k Y\u00fccel\u2019in de kom\u00fcnistleri korumad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kan\u0131tlamak durumunda kald\u0131\u011f\u0131 siyas\u00ee bir tart\u0131\u015fmaya d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc. Bu arada Y\u00fccel, \u00a0benzer yakla\u015f\u0131m i\u00e7indeki di\u011fer iddia sahiplerine de davalar a\u00e7t\u0131. 1949 y\u0131l\u0131 Aral\u0131k ay\u0131na de\u011fin uzayan bu s\u00fcre\u00e7 Y\u00fccel\u2019in aklanmas\u0131yla ve san\u0131klar\u0131n mahk\u00fbmiyetiyle son bulmakla birlikte y\u0131prat\u0131c\u0131 oldu. Kendi siyas\u00ee \u00e7evresi taraf\u0131ndan bile yaln\u0131zla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olman\u0131n yaratt\u0131\u011f\u0131 hayal k\u0131r\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131yla Y\u00fccel\u2019in \u201cne kadar benzemezmi\u015fim bana ben\u201d demesi haks\u0131zl\u0131\u011fa u\u011framaktan duydu\u011fu \u00fcz\u00fcnt\u00fcn\u00fcn veciz ve sitemli ifadesidir. \u00a0Y\u00fccel, kamuoyu nezdinde do\u011fru anla\u015f\u0131lmak ve tarihe not d\u00fc\u015fmek i\u00e7in dava s\u00fcre\u00e7lerinin belgelerini i\u00e7eren Davam (1947) ve Hasan \u00c2li Y\u00fccel\u2019in A\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131 Davalar ve Neticeleri (1950) adl\u0131 kitaplar\u0131 haz\u0131rlad\u0131 ve hemen bas\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flad\u0131. \u00d6te yandan hen\u00fcz davalar s\u00fcrerken gen\u00e7lik d\u00f6neminin yo\u011fun u\u011fra\u015f\u0131 olan \u015fiirler yoluyla kendini ifade etti. 1947\u2019de yaz\u0131p 1960\u2019da Tongu\u00e7\u2019un ruhuna arma\u011fan ederek yay\u0131mlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u201cDinle Benden\u201d adl\u0131 manzum eserde ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerini, ilkelerini, ak\u0131mlar kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131ndaki tutumunu, hayal k\u0131r\u0131kl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 anlatt\u0131. 1948\u2019de zengin i\u00e7 d\u00fcnyas\u0131n\u0131 yans\u0131tan, mistik motiflerle \u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fc, \u201cAllah Bir\u201d adl\u0131 \u015fiir kitab\u0131n\u0131 yazd\u0131.
