Ayva meyveleri kalbe kuvvet verir ve rahatlat\u0131r. Kalpteki s\u0131k\u0131nt\u0131y\u0131, \u00e7arp\u0131nt\u0131y\u0131 ve a\u011f\u0131z kokusunu giderir. Harareti ve ishali keser. Ayva yapra\u011f\u0131 kaynat\u0131l\u0131r, suyu ile gargara yap\u0131l\u0131p, pi\u015fmi\u015f yapraklar\u0131 ile de lapa yap\u0131l\u0131p bo\u011faza konursa bo\u011faz a\u011fr\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 ve \u015fi\u015fli\u011fini giderir. Burun kanamas\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nlemek i\u00e7in buruna ayva suyu \u00e7ekilmelidir. Ayva suyu a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 adet kanamas\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nler, ba\u011f\u0131rsak kanamalar\u0131n\u0131 keser, dizanteriye kar\u015f\u0131 \u00e7ok faydal\u0131d\u0131r. Do\u011fumu kolayla\u015ft\u0131rmak i\u00e7in ayva suyu ve ayva \u00e7ekirde\u011fi kaynat\u0131l\u0131p i\u00e7ilmelidir. Ayva kabu\u011fu veya ayva \u00e7ekirde\u011fi kaynat\u0131l\u0131p i\u00e7ilirse, idrar yolu iltihaplar\u0131na iyi gelir.
